In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
The Umpqua Valley Arts Association and Umpqua Actors Community Theatre are combining forces on Opening Night of “Mama Mia” on Thursday night April 2nd.
The evening will begin at the Arts Center at 5:00 p.m. with the meal provided by Alexanders Greek Cuisine. A Greek salad with pita bread and a traditional Greek entrée, with a vegetarian option available, will be served along with traditional Greek desserts. Wine will be available for purchase.
Immediately following dinner, guests will walk across the parking lot to UACT’s Betty Long Unruh Theatre to enjoy the opening night of the popular musical. The performance will begin at 7:00 p.m. and lasts for about two hours.
Tickets are $65 per person, or $120 per couple. A table of eight is $520, and comes with a bottle of wine.
