A wanted man was detained after running from authorities on Thursday night.
Information from Roseburg Police said at about 6:30 p.m. 23-year old John Lander was contacted in the 900 block of Northeast Hollis regarding a possible burglary. The suspect reportedly ran from the location but was later detained and identified. Officers found out that he had four warrants out for his arrest.
Lander was taken into custody without incident. He was jailed for the warrants and for a parole violation and was held without bail.
