TEEN HURT IN CAR VERSUS PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT

A teen was hurt in a car versus pedestrian accident on Wednesday evening.
Information from Roseburg Police said at 5:50 p.m. a 16-year old male was walking north on Vine Street as he approached the intersection with Alameda. A 60-year old woman was driving west on Alameda and struck the teen after she allegedly failed to stop at the intersection.
The victim was taken to Mercy Medical Center with some road rash and other injuries. He was treated and released according to a hospital spokesperson.
