The Winston Area Chamber of Commerce announced its 2020 First Citizen winners at their annual banquet on Monday night.
Curt Stookey was selected as the Male First Citizen while Nancy Tisdale was given the Female First Citizen honors. Student First Citizens were Gregory Kane and Joede Coma. The Humanitarian Award went to Clay and Donna Caldwell. The Civic Organization award was given to the Friends of the Winston Library.
Douglas County Commissioner Chris Boice was the featured speaker while the event was emceed by Mike Winters. Approximately 100 people were in attendance in the Winston Community Center.
