The Umpqua Valley Arts Association is holding a special event in conjunction with the current “Faces of the Umpqua Valley” exhibit.
An evening panel discussion, “Faces Behind Faces: A Community Conversation”, will take place Thursday night at the Arts Center.
UVA Gallery Director Sandee McGee will lead the event. Community members involved with the Faces project, UVA staff, gallery committee members, Faces photographers, and featured Faces community members will be represented in the discussion.
The UVAA release said the project has had an incredibly positive ripple affect through the community since the idea was proposed by a gallery committee member over a year ago.
The event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Call the UVAA for more information.
