The first of four informational meetings regarding the Sutherlin School District bond levy will be held on Tuesday night.
The $22 million measure would go towards funding $26 million in identified projects and will be on the May Primary ballot. If approved, the extra $4 million would come through matching grant funds issued by the State of Oregon. The largest project would be the replacement of West Intermediate School with a new two-story academic building on district owned property on Umatilla Street.
The Tuesday meeting will be at West Intermediate on North Comstock Avenue and will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Future meetings will be held:
*March 11th at Sutherlin High School
*March 18th at Sutherlin Middle School
*March 31st at East Primary School.
