The Roseburg Public Library has several events happening between Friday and Saturday.
*Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. a teens-only event will take place. Participants can play Magic: The Gathering.
*Lego play takes place Friday, also from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. It includes an extensive Lego collection and is designed for children ages three to fourteen.
*Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the library will host open hours for the new Maker Space. There will be a button maker, a sewing machine, and a 3D printer available for use. The space is open for all ages, but participants must sign a waiver. Minors must have the waiver signed by a parent and children under age ten must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to use the equipment.
*Saturday from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. the library will host a music-based story time led by Dr. Mark Breckenridge, Ph.D. in Musicology. The program is for preschool through early elementary aged students.
