The Canned Film Festival, a benefit for the Food Bank Program of the United Community Action Network, is happening on Saturday at Roseburg Cinema.
A release from UCAN said the event has been going on for several years, but this is the first time a first-run movie will be shown. “Sonic the Hedgehog” will be shown at 10:00 a.m. with the doors opening at 9:00 a.m. Admission is free when those attending bring five cans of nonperishable food for UCAN. One extra can will result in getting a free small popcorn. The movie will be shown on two different screens, with admission reserved for the first 350 people to show up.
