THREE PEOPLE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL FOLLOWING TWO-VEHICLE WRECK

Three people were taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle wreck on Wednesday.
Information from Roseburg Police said at about 3:30 p.m. a 60-year old Winston man was traveling west in the 600 block of Garden Valley. Traffic was stopped in front of him, so he stopped as well. A vehicle driven by a 26-year old Roseburg man was traveling behind the first vehicle but did not stop and ran into the other vehicle, causing major damage.
The second driver and his adult passenger were both taken to Mercy Medical Center by ambulance. The driver of the first vehicle was taken to the hospital by a family member. All were treated and released according to a hospital spokesperson. The second vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
The driver that caused the accident was cited for following too closely.
