Deputies are investigating a crash which took place early Monday just outside the Roseburg city limits.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 3:45 a.m. a deputy responded to the area of Troost and Doyle Lane regarding a suspicious vehicle. The caller said he had been awakened by a speeding vehicle and stated he heard a female yelling “let me out”. The deputy arrived in the area of Troost and Charter Oaks and spotted a vehicle that was blocking the roadway and appeared to have rolled several times. The vehicle was not occupied.
The report said several units responded to assist but could not locate anyone. During the course of the crash, the vehicle lost its tires and one of them went off the roadway and struck two parked vehicles.
