A Vietnam War 50th anniversary commemoration ceremony to thank and honor veterans of that conflict, will be held March 27th at the Roseburg National Cemetery.
A release from the VA and from the cemetery, said the event is being held to honor the service, sacrifice and enduring achievements of the Armed Forces. Keynote speakers include State Senator Dallas Heard, Roseburg VAHCS Director Keith Allen and Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin.
There will be a pinning ceremony for all Vietnam veterans in attendance.
The ceremony will be held at the flagpole in the National Cemetery Annex at 11:00 a.m. Call 677-3152 for more information.
