A Glide man was jailed by Oregon State Police on Wednesday night, after allegedly being found with an explosive device and for drugs.
Information from OSP said just before 10:00 p.m. a trooper made a traffic stop for a lighting violation at the Winchester fish ladder on Old Highway 99 North.
The report said an object was observed in the vehicle that appeared to be a pipe bomb. The Oregon State Police Explosives Unit responded and recovered the suspect device. Additional explosives making materials were reportedly located in the vehicle as well.
36-year old Jacob Spradley was arrested on a parole violation detainer. The report said he was also found with methamphetamine. Spradley was also charged with possession of a destructive device and for unlawful possession of meth.
He was detained without bail.
