CELEBRATION OF LITERACY EVENTS CONTINUE THIS WEEK

Celebration of Literacy Events are continuing this week around the area. Reading Around the World activities are happening at local libraries:
*Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Winston Library and at 3:30 p.m. at the Roseburg Public Library. The focus in Winston will be on Mexico while in Roseburg it will be Japan.
*Friday at 2:00 p.m.at the Sutherlin Library and at 4:30 p.m. at the Myrtle Creek Library. Sutherlin will focus on Thailand while Myrtle Creek focuses on Scotland.
*Saturday there will be four library events, at 10:00 a.m. at Oakland Library, at 11:00 a.m. at the Riddle Library, at 11:30 a.m. at the Yoncalla Library, and at the North Douglas Library at 1:00 p.m.
This Saturday and Sunday, Wildlife Safari will sponsor a free drive-through for all children that bring a new or gently used book.
