A vehicle with six teenagers in it, hit a power pole just outside Roseburg on Sunday night.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 5:10 p.m. a deputy responded to the 3500 block of Old Melrose Road regarding a non-injury crash. The 17-year old driver reportedly admitted to going into the opposing lane while headed west. After drifting into the other lane, the sedan struck a power pole on the driver side of the vehicle. The passengers ranged from 13 to 17 years of age.
A 13-year old passenger said he was ejected from the rear middle seat of the car. He was not injured. The driver was cited for reckless driving and reckless endangering. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
