Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a report of a shooting incident in Green on Thursday night.
Sergeant Brad O’Dell said at around 7:40 p.m. dispatchers received a report from a caller who said that someone had shot at his car following an attempted robbery in the parking lot of the Buy 2 Market on Old Highway 99 South.
O’Dell said officers from multiple law enforcement agencies responded and searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. Evidence supporting the report was found at the scene.
The suspects are described as caucasian teenaged males. One was wearing a black t-shirt and had dark shaggy hair. Another was wearing dark clothing while a third male was wearing a bandana, according to the report.
While law enforcement swarmed the area, residents were urged to lock their doors and report any suspicious activity.
