The Roseburg Public Library is holding several events this week:
*The Silent Book Group is Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. Those attending are asked to read quietly for 45 minutes and then talk as a group about the books that participants have read.
*Preschool Story Time takes place every Wednesday from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event is led by Youth Services Librarian Aurora Oberg and includes books, songs, active rhymes and a craft.
*Every Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. it’s the Girls Who Code program. Girls and boys in grades 3-5 can participate. No coding experience, computer or registration is required.
*Toddler Story Time is Thursdays from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It runs much like Preschool Story Time but is just for toddlers.
*Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. it’s the new Harry Potter book club. Each month, a different book from the series will be discussed and those attending can do a related craft. This month’s book is “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”.
