Two people were charged with possession of a stolen vehicle on Sunday.
Sergeant Mike Miller of the Winston Police said at about 3:40 a.m. an officer spotted an allegedly stolen vehicle come into town from the Dillard area. Miller said a high-risk stop was performed and both subjects were taken into custody. The vehicle was reportedly stolen from the Coos Bay area.
Miller said the driver, Cheryl Clifford, and the passenger Adrian Fabella were both charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. Clifford was also detained for possession of drug paraphernalia. They were each initially held on $50,000 bail.
