A woman was taken to the hospital after the vehicle she was driving struck a pole.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday afternoon at about 2:40 p.m. a call came in saying a woman had crashed her vehicle into a pole near the back side of McDonalds on Pruner Road near Riddle. The 28-year old woman was pregnant and had complaints of pain.
The report said she told first responders that she looked away right before the crash. She had already been transported to the hospital when a deputy arrived. She is in stable condition at last check according to a hospital spokesperson.
