Winston Police arrested a 20-year old man on cocaine and other charges on Friday.
Sergeant Mike Miller said officers pulled over Matthew McDowell in the parking lot of Abby’s.  He was allegedly found to be in possession of an “8 Ball” of cocaine. Miller said an investigation led to his residence where a search warrant was executed. Over a half ounce of cocaine was reportedly seized along with some cash, a rifle, and methamphetamine.
McDowell was charged with unlawful delivery and possession of cocaine, unlawful possession of meth and for conspiracy to commit a Class A felony. He was initially detained on $406,250 bail.
