Checking the Roseburg Police logs from last week:
Eight people were cited after being found sleeping in their cars early Tuesday morning. Information from Roseburg Police released on Friday said those contacted were all in the 400 block of Southeast Rose downtown. All had been warned for the same issue in the past. They were all cited for prohibited camping and then released. The group ranged in age from 19 to 54 years of age.
A 24-year man nearby was cited for second degree criminal trespass for sleeping under a “no trespassing” sign at the former Rite-Aid building nearby.
