MLK JR. DAY CLOSURES NOTED

Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and there are many closures.
Federal, state, county and city offices are all closed. No regular mail will be delivered. Schools are closed. Banks and credit unions are closed. The stock market will not be open.
Utrans buses are set to operate.
On November 3, 1983, President Ronald Reagan signed a bill marking the third Monday of every January, Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The holiday was first observed in 1986. It was first officially observed by all 50 states in 2000.
