SUV COLLIDES WITH AMBULANCE

An SUV collided with an ambulance in Roseburg on Wednesday night.
A report from the Roseburg Police, said at about 8:15 p.m. the traffic lights at the intersection of Garden Valley and Cedar were not working due to a power outage. A 23-year old Myrtle Creek man was driving an ambulance northbound on Cedar towards Airport Road. He stopped, treating the intersection as a four-way stop. As he crossed the intersection, an SUV driven by a 33-year old Sutherlin man failed to stop and drove into the passenger side of the ambulance.
No injuries were reported. There was minor damage to the ambulance while the SUV sustained front-end damage.
It appears that no citations were issued according to the report.
