The Honorable Robert Wilkie, 10th Secretary of the Veterans Affairs, was interviewed by Kyle Bailey of News Radio 1240 KQEN on Tuesday.
That interview will be heard on Thursday on KQEN.
The interview will cover a variety of topics important to veterans in southern Oregon including MISSION Act implementation, the VA’s suicide prevention efforts, Community Care, staffing issues and more.
Wilkie has served as VA Secretary since July of 2018 after being nominated by President Donald Trump. Prior to that, he served Secretary James Mattis as his Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness.
