Staff with the Myrtle Creek Police are seeking the owners of stolen property that has been recovered.
Detective Kevin Taggart said that on December 26th the department served a search warrant at a local residence and located the property. Taggart said while some of it has been returned to the rightful owners, they still have some property that they have not been able to find the owners for.
Taggart said people that have had these items stolen in the Myrtle Creek area in the past year, should contact MCPD to identify it:
*Electric style lawn mower
*Pressure washer
*Amplifier and speaker combination
*Rifle
*Snowboard and gear
Taggart said citizens that have items stolen should report it, even if they do not have a serial number for the items. He said that makes it not only easier to identify the owner, but helps the department to track crime statistics in certain areas.
