A Roseburg man was cited Wednesday afternoon following a New Year’s Eve incident.
A report from Roseburg Police said the 27-year old allegedly came to the victim’s house on Moritz Street the previous night during a gathering to celebrate the New Year. The suspect had reportedly been asked to leave due to his behavior but refused to get off the property.
The report said that eventually he was physically escorted off the property by family members, during which time he allegedly knocked over a portion of their fence. The suspect returned an hour later according to the report and stuck a razor blade in the tire of the victim’s vehicle.
The man was cited for second degree counts of criminal mischief and criminal trespass and then was released.
