Most government offices in the area are open as usual for New Year’s Eve day.
Information from Douglas County said its offices are open. City government in Roseburg, Winston and Myrtle Creek are open as normal. City of Sutherlin offices are open but will close early at 3:00 p.m.
All government offices will be closed Wednesday for New Year’s Day though public safety employees and needed 24-hour operations will remain on the job.
