SIGNIFICANT RISES ON RIVERS AND STREAMS FORECAST

Forecasters at the National Weather Service have issued a Flood Potential Outlook for significant rises on rivers and streams in Douglas and nearby counties.
Forecasters said an atmospheric river is bringing moderate to heavy rain to the area over the next several days causing rises on area rivers.
Watches and warnings may be issued if the situation worsens.
The Flood Potential Outlook also applies to Coos, Curry, and Josephine counties.
