Information on the University of Oregon’s Veterans Oral History Project will be presented Thursday night at the Roseburg Public Library.
Dr. Alex Dracobly, Senior Instructor in the Department of History at UO founded the project in 2009 and directed it until 2018. During that time over 150 veterans were interviewed. Their stories are currently or soon will be available through the university archive at the Knight Library on the U of O campus.
Thursday night Dr. Dracobly will talk about his work and play audio clips from a few interviews.
The event is part of the College in the Community series at the library. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be held in the Deer Creek Room.
