WOMAN CITED FOR THEFT OF MERCHANDISE

A Eugene woman was cited for first degree theft after an incident at Walmart on Tuesday night.
Information from Roseburg Police said at about 10:40 p.m. the 49-year old allegedly pushed a shopping cart loaded with nearly $1,200 worth of merchandise out of the store on Stewart Parkway. Officers were unable to locate her initially. She was later found sitting outside of Ridgeway Market. All of the merchandise was recovered.
The woman was released after being cited.
