A Roseburg man has been arrested for sex abuse of a minor.
Sergeant Jeff Eichenbusch of the Roseburg Police said in late November RPD received a report alleging that a minor female had been sexually assaulted by 28-year old Danya Czernowski of Roseburg. Eichenbusch said the investigation revealed the incident allegedly occurred when the minor was visiting the man’s residence.
Tuesday, Czernowski was charged with sexual abuse in the second degree. He was detained on $50,000 bail. According to the Douglas County Jail website, the charge has been changed to sexual abuse in the third degree and bail has been reduced to $6,250.
