Three people were jailed after a disturbance in Canyonville on Sunday afternoon.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at around 1:00 p.m. the incident allegedly took place in the 300 block of Canyonville Park Road. The report said 27-year old Antonio Acevedeo reportedly threw 23-year old Briar Rushford down, causing injury. A 21-year old woman, Riley Pickett, then allegedly smashed all the windows out of the first man’s vehicle. Acevedo then reportedly smashed all the windows out Rushford’s and Pickett’s vehicles. The report said Rushford and Pickett then attacked the first man with a rake and a baseball bat.
All three were initially held for harassment, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and third-degree assault charges. Rushford was detained on $102,500 bail, while Pickett was held for $52,500 bail. Acevedeo was released from custody later on Sunday. Rushford and Pickett were detained until Monday afternoon.
