A transient was jailed after two incidents in less than an hour on Friday.
Information from Roseburg Police said that just before 10:00 p.m. the 74-year had entered Albertsons after having been previously trespassed. The report said he started driving an electric cart around the inside of the store, selecting items as he went. He was allegedly found consuming some of the items after having splashed himself with cologne which also came from the store. He was cited and released.
Just before 10:30 p.m. multiple witnesses stated that the same man was banging on the glass windows of a business in the 1100 block of Garden Valley, while cussing and yelling at employees. At one point the man reportedly tried to get a store employee to fight with him and did not leave the property when told to. This time he was charged with second degree disorderly conduct.
