The Umpqua Valley Winegrowers Association are preparing for their 50^th annual Greatest of the Grape celebration in March, and tickets are already on sale.
A UVWA release said the event was the first of its kind, with local fine wine available for tasting, paired with food prepared by local restaurants and caterers. It is now considered one of the premier wine tasting events in Oregon, according to organizers.
It will be held on Saturday March 21st in Douglas Hall at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Early bird tickets are available through January 31st.
*VIP tickets are $115 per person
*General admission is $80 per person
Prices go up by $10 dollars when February begins.
This year’s theme will be “Puttin’ on the Ritz” and includes live music for dancing along the wine and food.
