NIGHTIME DELAYS ON I-5 IN THE ROSEBURG AREA NEXT WEEK

December 12, 2019 9:20 a.m.
Motorists on Interstate Five in the Roseburg area should expect delays next Wednesday and Thursday nights, due to rock scaling work.
Dan Latham of the Oregon Department of Transportation said rolling slowdowns will be used in both directions of the freeway, with traffic delayed up to 20 minutes between 7:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. each night.
Latham said in the southbound direction, pilot cars will lead I-5 traffic on a low-speed approach from the Winchester area through Roseburg. Flaggers will hold traffic at each southbound on-ramp from the Del Rio/Winchester interchange to McLain Avenue.
Northbound rolling scaling work will take place on the west side of I-5 near the McLain Avenue interchange.
