A Roseburg woman was cited following an offensive littering incident on Tuesday.
Information from the Roseburg Police said the 24-year old was contacted in the 700 block of Mosher at 12:45 p.m. regarding a litter complaint. When the officer tried to issue her a citation, she tried to flee, and refused to take the citation. She was caught and detained without further incident.
The woman was cited for interfering with a police officer, for prohibited camping and on the littering charge. She was released after being cited.
