DRIVER HURT AFTER VEHICLE FLIPS IN MELROSE

A Roseburg man was hurt when his vehicle flipped Tuesday afternoon on Melqua Road in Melrose.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 3:15 p.m. a deputy responded to the 3000 block of the road. The report said a witness saw the car slowly drift off the roadway into the bank before the wreck took place.
The 60-year old man driving the car had visible injuries to his hand but was unable to make a statement following the crash. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
