SEMI ROLLS ONTO ITS SIDE

December 10, 2019 10:00 a.m.
A semi-truck and trailer rolled on Interstate Five on Monday morning.
A report from Oregon State Police said at about 10:50 a.m. the 39-year old southbound driver apparently became distracted and drifted to the right just beyond the paved portion of the road about three miles north of Rice Hill. When he attempted to correct his course, he lost control and crossed both southbound lanes which caused the truck and the trailer to roll over onto its right side.
The trailer was partially blocking traffic until a crew from the Oregon Department of Transportation responded and drug it out of the left lane.
The driver was not injured.
