Applications are due Friday for those interested in an open position on the Umpqua Public Transportation District Board of Directors.
The person selected will finish the remainder of the term that had been held by John Campbell. The term expires in June of 2021. Campbell resigned effective December 3rd.
The Board is comprised of seven board members. Each is elected at-large by the registered voters of the District.
Those interested can get an information packet at the Transportation District office at 610 Southeast Rose in downtown Roseburg during regular business hours. The packet has information about the District, the position, and the application and selection process. Call 391-3178 for more information.
Applications must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
A new board member will be selected at a future Board of Directors meeting.
