In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
During “the most wonderful time of the year”, the Umpqua Actors Community Theatre is presenting “Every Christmas Story Ever Told…And Then Some”, through December 15th.
Instead of performing Charles Dickens beloved holiday classic for the umpteenth time, three actors decide to take the audience on a wild ride through abridged versions of every holiday tale they can think of. That means Rudolph, Grinch, Frosty, Charlie Brown and more are all included plus Christmas traditions from around the world, and seasonal icons. Every carol ever sung is included as well.
The production continues Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, and $10 for children up to age 12. The production is not recommended for children under age 6. Purchase tickets by going to www.uact-theatre.com or by calling 673-2125. Tickets can also be purchased at the door, if still available for that night.
