MAN JAILED FOLLOWING DISTURBANCE

A Roseburg man was jailed following a disturbance on Monday afternoon.
A report from DCSO said at about 4:30 p.m. a 57-year old man allegedly punched another man several times at a residence in the 100 block of Silverado. The report said the suspect was drunk and refused to let deputies enter the residence. He briefly resisted before being taken into custody.
The man was charged with resisting arrest, for interfering with a police officer, and for second degree disorderly conduct. He was initially held on $15,000 bail.
