CHRISTMAS TREE TAGS NOW AVAILABLE

December 2, 2019 3:45 a.m.
Christmas Tree tags are available from the Bureau of Land Management’s Roseburg District and from the Umpqua National Forest through December 24th.
A release from both agencies said the cost for a single tree up to 12 feet high is $5. There is a limit of 3 trees on BLM land and 5 trees on Forest Service land. No commercial tags are issued. The tag means a purchaser can cut their own tree on a self-serve basis in either the Swiftwater or South River Resource areas on BLM land, and on areas designated for Christmas Tree harvesting on Forest Service land. Maps identifying these areas are provided when the permit is purchased.
