While Friday is not a holiday, a number of city governments around Douglas County are making it a four-day weekend for many of their staff.
City offices are closed in Roseburg, Sutherlin, Winston, Myrtle Creek and Reedsport. Douglas County officials said some departments are closed, have limited hours or have staffing reduced. Senior dining sites and the Meals on Wheels program are closed Friday as well.
