Registration continues for a Wreath Making Workshop, being held December 2nd.
Oregon State University Extension Service and the Women Owning Woodlands Network of Douglas County are offering the event where participants can learn to make wreaths and swags, just in time for the holidays.
Those attending will learn how to identify, harvest and use native forest materials and will be able to design and construct a wreath to take home with them.
The Extension Service release said before the workshop, people should walk their property and collect greenery, cones, and berries to bring with them. Extra decorations, needle-nose pliers, wire cutters, gloves, and scissors should be brought as well.
The workshop will run from 1:00 p.m. to 4;00 p.m. at the Riversdale Grange. The cost to attend is $10 per person. Registration closes on November 28th. Signup online at https://beav.es/ZL9, or by calling 672-4461.
