Umpqua Fisherman’s Association will have its annual fundraiser next Tuesday November 26th.
The event will be held in the warehouse grand room at Backside Brewing Company in Roseburg. A social hour begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by a brief election of officers, then the auction kicks off at 7:00 p.m.
Items up for bid include guided fishing trips, a fishing rod, fillet knife, gift baskets, baked goods, and more. Money received helps to fund fish propagation and education projects. Organizers said over the past 39 years, volunteers with the group have stocked millions of steelhead and other game fish in Douglas County lakes and rivers.
