WOMAN JAILED FOR HARASSMENT

A Roseburg woman was jailed in a harassment case on Tuesday.
A report from Roseburg Police said just after 11:00 a.m. 31-year old Callie Smith allegedly spit in a man’s face and poked his face multiple times during an argument in the 500 block of Clover. The woman reportedly ran from the house when police arrived. She was captured after a brief foot pursuit.
Smith was charged with interfering with a police officer, and resisting arrest along with the harassment count. She was initially detained on $15,000 bail.
