AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY EXTENDED THROUGH THURSDAY AT 4:00 p.m.

November 14, 2019 4:00 a.m.
The Air Stagnation Advisory for central Douglas County and surrounding areas has been extended through 4:00 p.m. Thursday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said strong inversions and limited mixing continue to persist, leading to periods of poor air quality. That could cause issues for people with respiratory problems.
State air quality agencies continue to highly recommend that no outdoor burning occur and that residential wood burning devices be limited as much as possible.
The Air Stagnation Advisory is also in effect for Josephine and Jackson counties, eastern Curry County and the Klamath Basin.
