A Roseburg man was cited for initiating a false police report on Wednesday.
Information from the Roseburg Police said a 54-year old man had earlier reported that another man had stolen a guitar amplifier out of his garage on Grove. During the investigation it was discovered that the property actually belonged to the second man and that the first man had told the other man to come and get it.
The man was released after the citation was issued.
