A missing Roseburg man has been found deceased.
Sergeant Jeff Eichenbusch of the Roseburg Police said Wednesday afternoon RPD detectives assisted by K9 teams from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue, searched the hillside between Stewart Parkway and Garden Valley.
Eichenbusch said during the search, the body of 32-year old Matthew Shelton was located in a heavily wooded portion of the hillside.
Shelton was last seen on October 6th and was reported missing by his mother on October 11th.
Eichenbusch said no foul play is suspected and the incident is being investigated as a probable suicide.
