AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY/DENSE FOG ADVISORY FOR DOUGLAS COUNTY

November 6, 2019 4:25 a.m.
An Air Stagnation Advisory remains in effect through Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m., while a Dense Fog Advisory is in place through 9:00 a.m. for central Douglas County.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said air stagnation may lead to poor air quality which could cause issues for people with respiratory problems. State air quality agencies highly recommend that no outdoor burning occur and that residential wood burning devices be limited as much as possible.
The Dense Fog Advisory has resulted in hazardous driving conditions due to the low visibility. Visibility is less than one quarter mile in many locations. Forecasters said drivers should slow down, use headlights, and leave plenty of distance from other vehicles.
