There is another missing person’s case in Douglas County.
Roseburg Police are trying to locate a local man who has been missing for over a month.
Sergeant Jeff Eichenbusch said 32-year old Matthew James Shelton last had contact with his family on October 6th. He mother reported him missing five days later. Eichenbusch said that Shelton has still not had any contact with family or friends, which according to family, is very unusual for him.
Eichenbusch said RPD is looking for help from the public and would like to speak with anyone who may have had contact with Shelton after October 6th. Eichenbusch said this is a missing person investigation only and there is currently no evidence to believe there was any foul play.
Anyone who has seen Shelton or know his whereabouts is asking to call Roseburg Police at 492-6794.
There are two pictures of Shelton posted with the story at www.541radio.com. One was taken in a grocery store and was from the last day Shelton was seen, so those were the last clothes he was seen wearing.
